"Meeting the Challenges of Difficult Clients with Success"
We’ve all had them; those “PITA” clients who say one thing and then demand another; who want more edits, or who just are hard to deal with. We often don’t realize we are getting involved until after the contract is signed or we are well into the resume writing process.
More often than not, these clients are suffering from some type of loss, or “grief” in their lives. We are not here to be their counselors, but understanding the stages and types of grief and utilizing some tips to gain cooperation will help us get the job done more quickly and less painfully. In this presentation you will learn the following:
- The two types of grief and how grief affects the resume writing process
- How to use your resume worksheet to identify potential problematic areas
- Tips for keeping clients on focus
- How to turn a negative experience into a positive one
